Lost with the Captain

It was a simple task. Retrieve Princess Raina of Dalrovia along with Captain Halden Kolbeck of The Queen's Guard, and bring them to the Muiraran palace. They could bond in a controlled setting, far from danger and eventually join; the Muiraran's equivalent of marriage. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. Waking up in a strange city in a foreign land was the last thing Princess Raina or Captain Kolbeck expected to happen after drinking some tea. With no clue as to how they got there, they quickly realize they're on their own. But how does one navigate such strange circumstances? And how are they to ever find their way back to Dalrovia? Lucky for them, they're befriended by a local and are able to slowly piece together what happened. But what if they're never rescued? Worse, Raina's parents have ordered both to stay away from the other. Raina's not sure she can do that. She knows her parents want her to marry another royal, but can she be lost with the captain and keep her heart's true feelings for him a secret? And why are both suffering from the same sort of strange ailment?

It's a race against time as Time Master Dallan MacDonald and his friends desperately try to find the princess and the captain before death claims them. But they are not the only ones death is hunting...
